While I was walking around Northpoint, I did something that I wouldn’t normally do. I stopped at the basement atrium where they were selling all sorts of drama serials/ movie DVDs and watched a show broadcasting on TV. There was a crowd standing in front of the TV and together, we watched this:
The Adventure of Pan and James. Pan is a chimpanzee, and James is a bulldog. Together, they embark on many different everyday tasks and adventures of humans, such as buying food/ shoes /taking public transport. The friendship between Pan and James is indescribable; they seem to be able to communicate!
Yes I bought it…
I tell you, it was the first time I’d actually bought a DVD after watching it for awhile, but I couldn’t resist it cuz it was TOO CUTE. Not only did it make the crowd laugh together, it also made some choke back in tears. All in that short 15 mins or so of watching. I was so touched that I wanted to share this experience with Hammy and so I bought the DVD.
After Hammy saw the DVD, he said that the series is actually available on youtube. But being able to watch it uninterrupted and with no other distractions is way better in my opinion. What made me happy was us, sitting on the couch, me leaning against his chest and laughing along, being amazed at how intelligent and cute a chimpanzee can get. Best, Hammy’s grammy also laughed along and she loved it! :D We watched it the whole night.

Ah Kathie, I bought it from a DVD store at a neighbourhood shopping mall! Perhaps you can try buying it online?
