This restaurant serving North Indian cuisine is situated rather awkwardly right smack in the middle of an empty space in the shopping mall. Either way, you can’t miss it. It’s packed with customers every time I walk past it, and the mixture of the spices smell really good.
I had the Chicken Briyani Rice ($6.50) that comes with Achar and Papadom. The basmati rice was a little bland, but the curry made up for it. It was so savoury and fragrant my only complaint was that it was a little too oily. But scooping the oil away reveals the thick and aromatic chicken curry. The papadom was really crispy and awesome too.
Hammy had Tandoori Naan set ($9.90). Naan is his favourite North Indian dish and he says if he could, he would replace his daily rice intake with naan cuz it’s oven-baked and not oily at all! Unlike Roti Prata that is soaked in ghee.
Accompanying our meal was Iced Teh Cino ($2.80).
We’ve been going on an Indian food spree, and even bought discount vouchers for a North Indian buffet. Haha Hammy’s so gonna stuff himself with all that free-flow naan! I prefer crispy roti prata actually X)
